Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating a StockDesk Inventory account or using the product, you agree to these terms. If you use StockDesk for a shop, you confirm you are allowed to act for that shop.

The service

StockDesk provides cloud software for sales, stock tracking, staff access, and related shop operations. Features depend on your plan (Starter, Growth, or Business). We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove core paid capabilities without reasonable notice where practical.

Accounts and staff

  • You are responsible for keeping login details secure.
  • You control which staff can access the shop and what they can do.
  • You must not share one owner login across the whole team when individual logins are available.

Plans and billing

  • Prices are shown in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and billed monthly unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • Payment methods include MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money, and any other methods we list at checkout or on WhatsApp support.
  • You may start on a free trial. Paid features unlock when you upgrade and pay.
  • You may cancel anytime. Access continues through the period already paid; we do not pro-rate partial months unless required by law or we agree in writing.
  • Multi-branch limits follow your plan: Starter (1 location), Growth (up to 3), Business (unlimited under one account).

Acceptable use

Do not misuse StockDesk: no illegal activity, no attempts to break or overload the system, no scraping other shops’ data, and no uploading malware or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.

Your data

You own the shop data you enter. You grant us permission to host and process it only to provide and improve the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Availability

We aim for reliable uptime and support slow networks common at real counters. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated when possible.

Liability

StockDesk is a tool to help you run the shop. You remain responsible for pricing, tax, stock decisions, and records required by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
